ASU Sets Up A TikkTokers Anonymous to Help Free Students From the Shackles of TikTok Addiction

Since the recent banning and unbanning of the dominant social media platform Tik Tok many people, especially those from Gen Z,  noticed a feeling of withdrawal from the app in the six hours that they were forced away from it. It was also noted that they felt everyone who felt these withdrawals were actually just experiencing reality. This resulted in a regular level of productivity and quality of life.

After those six hours and Tik Tok was reintroduced to the app store everyone immediately went back to doom scrolling like flies on shit. In an attempt to help this group, Arizona State University has opened up a support group for the students affected by this called TikTokkers Anonymous.

Students are now able to meet and talk about their addictions in a healthy way in Pitchforks dining hall located in the Memorial Union. These support groups will be led by the head coach of ASU football, Kenny Dillingham. Dillingham has stated that he plans on bringing the same fire and intensity he brings to football to these support groups by, “making them feel like they’re on an episode of Beyond Scared Straight”
