Michigan State University recently inducted a new president after the last one, Dr. Samuel Stanley Jr., stepped down prematurely amid pressure from the board of trustees following his handling of a title IX case. Whatever that really means is anyone’s guess, and your chance of finding out the truth is about the same as me being the MSU President one day. For reference, I would try to run through a mile of quicksand before accepting the role as President of this University.
Stanley was the third MSU President in four years to step down prematurely. The job has come with many controversies and public scandals.
The newly inducted President, Kevin Guskiewicz, began working on his first project as President the second he got the job.
That project? His first speech. Apology speech, that is. He is working together with his PR team to write a speech knowing that there will be a scandal eventually, and they will be prepared. What that scandal will be, they have no clue, but they are 100% certain there will be one sooner rather than later. Some students are already calling for his job. “That new President, whatever his name is, he has a lot of explaining to do. He’s definitely done some shit,” said one clearly educated freshman.
“We are working tirelessly around the clock in order to prove my innocence,” the new President stated.
His staff informed us he will not be taking any more questions during this tough time (his entire presidency).
