Daniel James, a comics professor at the university decided to switch his introduction to comics class to Zoom after spring break because he wanted to finally relax in Cancun, Mexico.
Andrew Brown, a student in the class was excited to come back to class in person but received an email from James one minute before class was supposed to start at 8 a.m. on Monday.
James said in the email that he was sick of coming to campus every day even and needed to be in Cancun because of a dream he had the night before.
“Dear Students, I need to cancel the class for the rest of the semester because I had a dream last night that I need to be in Cancun and I was sick of the commute to class even though I live five minutes away,” James said.
James had his first class on the beach and his students looked annoyed on Zoom.
After he got off Zoom, his margarita spilled all over his laptop.
