Kennesaw, GA. – There is always one person who learns the hard way. As Kennesaw State welcomes new students, commuting student Iggy Russ refuses to risk with waitlists for a pre-requisite and decides to go for the available 8 a.m. class slot.
“I’ve always been a morning person, and I’m only half an hour away tops,” said Russ when interviewed. When asked about parking and traffic, Russ brushed it off. “It’s 8 a.m., who else will be on the roads. Watch, I’ll be the first in class. You guys can see for yourself.”
And so, we waited by his classroom at 8 a.m. While we did eventually see Iggy Russ, he did not leave a comment as he was running to class holding a Monster Energy drink at 8:26 a.m. We waited for class to be over to continue the interview, but we never saw him leave. Classmates say that Russ fell asleep only 10 minutes after he sat down.
The professor did not bother to wake Russ and left him in the room after class, saying, “I don’t have enough caffeine for this.”
*Update*
Russ has since dropped the class.
