With the pub’s semesterly grand opening, the campus’s newest band, Imagine Squirrels, performed covers of the summer’s greatest hits. The night took a dark turn when the student band proceeded to play “Hot to Go” by Chappell Roan. The student body trampled the student worker at the front door, who was checking IDs.
A crowd formed around the bar. During the performance, the band’s lead singer, Dam Reymolds, took it upon himself to use the bar as his stage. One student reported that their Angry Orchard was knocked over by none other than Reymolds while he was dancing to the chorus. Days later reporters returned to the scene, and sources say the student was never compensated for the Angry Orchard. As a result, the song has been banned from Drew University events due to the unpredictable outcomes the song produces.
