As many who frequent Athens, Ohio, may know, the bridge over Hocking River has had road work being done on it all summer long, the road even being completely closed at some points. What citizens don’t know is that the nonstop road work is a ploy by the government meant to obfuscate the landing of an extraterrestrial.
The alien landed last spring, prompting “road workers” to close the road and keep the place quarantined over the summer, only recently allowing cars to pass through with a temporary light.
Unfortunately, the alien itself has long been removed from the premises, but the continued presence of the road workers implies that the incident has not been fully resolved. Did the UFO leave some kind of harmful radiation? Did it leave an acid behind that damaged the road? Or is there a chance for a second contact that the government wants to keep on top of?
The only way to know is to bide our time and watch the sky.
