Professor Claims That All Professors Should Exclusively Use Their Paywalled Published Work in Their Curriculum

Kennesaw, GA. – On September 26th, tenured KSU English professor Chase Gold went on his X account with his outlook on assigning readings for his classes. Professors should just insert all the works they will cover in one book with all their notes, annotations, and publish it as a book. Streamlined Teaching, essentially, as he put it, for the price of 105 USD.

“It’s a perfect guide to the classes I teach and is essentially a cheat code for the students. I have had much success with it,” says Gold. “It’s for the benefit of the students, really. And me. I have been really busy, you know?”

When The Nut asked about his terrible Rate My Professors and low reputation on campus, he just chalked it up to “lack of fire and proper priorities.” Former student, Grace Lee, says, “I just want him to enter the grade for my Shakespeare Final.” She took the class in Fall 2024.

His book, Early English Literature for Morons, is on sale for 90 dollars, not including online fees and taxes.
