After never getting matched on Hinge, a student at Kennesaw State University did a brave thing and asked out their crush after class. However, they were promptly rejected. The student took it in stride and did not let it bring them down.
Then one rejection soon became five, and Hinge seemed to suddenly return to their phone. After consulting the TikTok tarot card readers and manifest guides, the poor romantic felt misled as the semester continued.
One night, the student had a dream about getting a date. Nonetheless, the student was still met with rejection in the subconscious.
“Honestly, I should have known it was a dream when I wasn’t wearing the same jeans I had on for the past three days,” reports the student.
“I managed to show up on time, I got a 100 on a midterm that I didn’t study for, and class ended early. A perfect dream, and I still couldn’t get a yes in there too…”
The student has decided to take personal time to “love myself because I’m enough.”
