Due to the pressure of an ever-changing job market, a radical new approach has emerged amongst ambitious students at Grand Valley State University. Labeled the “Fast Track” to success, the strategy involves doubling a credit load each semester with hopes of graduating in half the time and cost it usually would take.

Campus Elevators Go Unused Amidst Claims by Students That They Are “Obviously Evil”

There are, of course, plenty of elevators across campus, but many students don’t see these as a desirable alternative either. “Yeah, you couldn’t pay me to get in one of those,” Chet added, when asked if he used campus elevators “The things moan like they’re dying, shake like there’s an earthquake, and one time I put my ear up to the wall and I heard whispering”

University Increases Gap in Bathroom Stalls Even Further in Order to Foster Connection

This Wednesday, the University’s Construction & Renovation Services Department announced sweeping Grounds-wide bathroom renovations. UVA’s public and dorm restrooms are notoriously out of date, so the announcement was initially met with celebration, followed by abject horror when the department’s Associate Director, Pepper Thomas, elaborated on the specific renovations in mind.

Parkmobile and Aimsparking Battle for Worst User Experience

In a battle no driver asked for, AIMSParking and Parkmobile have decided to wage a war that shall burn everyone but themselves. Each app has, for quite some time, decided that UIs can get worse. Prices can become more unreasonable as a battle of wits ensues, especially in the lead-up to a fresh batch of money-making students descending on the scene, most sporting exotic and sought-after cars, causing a war of attrition to break out between the big dogs of ASU’s parking scene.

Classes to Feature Trailers for Courses Offered Next Semester

Kennesaw, GA. – As parking struggles continue to affect students and professors alike, Kennesaw administration attempts to ensure students experience what KSU has to offer. After two weeks of major public urging, they have a solution. What is it? Borrowing from the movie business, “pre-shows” to make Pre-Classes. To get students to class early and on time.
If you are not familiar with the term, preshows are the previews and advertisements shown between the listed showtime for a movie and the actual film. “That’s how it’ll essentially work, we have the time that is posted for the class but we will require the professor to show 15 minutes of selected ads for potential courses and university benefits,” says KSU administrator Jack Aselles.
When asked what if the professor is not there to show previews or why not just deal with parking itself, Aselles mentions how there will be a scavenger hunt in one of the previews where you can win a $100 gift card to a campus Chick-fil-A. KSU will launch a new production company to create these previews and will dedicate $150,000 to start it up. The studio building is now being surveyed on the Kennesaw campus. For now, they will show messages from Amazon Warehouse and Walmart’s marketing to students during this.
